Lifeline Program Resources During the COVID-19 Pandemic

During the COVID-19 pandemic it is critical that New Yorkers have the connectivity they need to stay in touch with loved ones, telework, search for jobs, participate in remote learning and telehealth, and maintain the social distancing necessary to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Lifeline is an assistance program offered by many telephone providers, including some wireless and cable companies, to help low income eligible consumers save money on their bills. Due to circumstances related to the pandemic, many New Yorkers may be eligible for Lifeline for the first time, but may not be aware of the program or how to apply.
